2 Faraway Fields

A private hot tub on wraparound decking is the main outdoor feature of 2 Faraway Fields, a cedar-clad lodge on a holiday site at Dobwalls. The lodge is single-storey and sleeps four, with Looe, Polperro and Fowey to the south and Bodmin Moor just inland.

The king-size bedroom has a TV, a dressing room and an en-suite shower room, and the second bedroom has twin beds. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with a breakfast bar and dining table, a skylight over the kitchen and a Freeview TV. WiFi and electric central heating are provided. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included, and a travel cot without a mattress and a highchair can be hired.

Parking is off-road for 1 car, and an EV charging point is available at an extra cost. The shop and pub are both 0.5 miles away, and the Old Mill Bar and Restaurant at nearby Stonerush Lakes serves wood-fired pizzas. A lake sits on the site, and children must be supervised at all times. Barbecues may not be brought to the site, check-in is 4pm and check-out 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted.

Smoking is not allowed and neither are pets. The lodge suits couples and small families who want a private hot tub, and is less good for anyone travelling with a dog.
