2 Southern Place

Two people and up to two pets can stay at 2 Southern Place, a lodge in Dobwalls with a sky deck, a spa area and its own cinema room. The one bedroom is a super-king-size, and the shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The spa area combines a Jacuzzi spa bath with a sauna. Living space is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, and a Bluetooth music system alongside a TV with Freeview. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Central heating is electric, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Outside is a private decked sky deck with patio furniture. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times on site. Off-road parking is for one car, and an EV charging point can be used at an extra cost. A travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired. There is a lake on site, so children need to be supervised at all times, and barbecues cannot be brought to the site.

Shop and pub are both 0.5 miles away. Smoking is not allowed, check-in is 4pm and check-out 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. It suits a couple who want a spa and film evenings, with a dog or two along. It is less good for a party that needs a second car space, since parking covers one car.
