20 Meadow Retreat

20 Meadow Retreat is a single-storey lodge on a lodge park in Dobwalls, 2.6 miles from Liskeard and 8.4 miles from Looe. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, each with a TV and its own en-suite. The king-size has a walk-in shower and its zip-and-link beds can be made into a twin on request. The twin room has a bath with a shower over it. A further shower room and a cloakroom complete the layout.

The open-plan living space holds the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a kettle and a toaster. WiFi and central heating are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent. A highchair and a travel cot without a mattress can be requested.

The decking has furniture and a hot tub, and the lodge also has its own sauna indoors. Parking is off-road. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome but must stay on a lead at all times on site. Smoking is not allowed, and barbecues cannot be brought onto the park. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. The nearest shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.6 miles.

Golitha Falls and Trippet Stone Circle are among the local walks, Siblyback Lake and walking on Bodmin Moor are suggested trips. The Old Mill Bar and Restaurant at Stonerush Lakes serves wood-fired pizzas. The lodge suits two couples or a family who want a hot tub and sauna at home, and it suits dog owners who are happy to keep to the lead rule.
