The private decked terrace has seating, a hot tub and an outdoor spa bath with Jacuzzi. Living space is open plan, with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, wine cooler, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A Smart TV with Freeview, a Bluetooth music system and WiFi come with electric central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times on site. Parking is off-road for two cars, and an EV charging point can be used at an extra cost. Barbecues cannot be brought to the site, and smoking is not allowed.
Shop and pub are both 0.5 miles away. Check-in is 4pm, check-out 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. The lodge suits a couple with a dog or two and a taste for a sauna and film night. It is less good for anyone who finds steps difficult, as the entrance has them.
