3 Meadow Retreat

3 Meadow Retreat is a wooden-clad, single-storey lodge on a holiday site on the edge of Dobwalls, near Looe, Polperro and Fowey. The open-plan living space holds the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, and the kitchen has an oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The double bedroom has a TV and an en-suite with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC; the twin shares the bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The lodge sleeps four. There is one off-road parking space, and EV charging is available at an extra cost.

The enclosed decking has furniture and a hot tub. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times on site. Three steps lead up to the property, Sunday arrivals are not permitted and there is no smoking. The nearest shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.6 miles.

The lodge suits a couple or two friends who want a hot tub, an electric car charge point on site or a dog-friendly stay. It is less good for groups of more than four, and the single parking space and three entrance steps are worth checking against your plans.
