4 Cardell Way

4 Cardell Way is a single-storey bungalow in Newquay for up to four guests, with two double bedrooms and one bathroom. Bookings can only start on a Friday, which is worth knowing before you pick dates.

The sitting room has a woodburning stove and a TV, and the kitchen/diner has an electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and air fryer. A separate utility room sits off the main living space. The bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower, and central heating backs up the stove.

Outside, the rear garden has a summer house and furniture. Parking is on the road rather than in an allocated space. A shop and a pub are within a mile, and WiFi is included, along with bed linen, towels, fuel and power. No smoking. Dogs are welcome from September to June but not in July and August; check how many are allowed when you book.

From Newquay, Holywell is 6 miles away, Perranporth 8.5 miles, and Truro and Padstow 14 miles each. The town has eleven beaches, three of them major, along with the National Surf Centre, a zoo and a sea life centre.

It suits two couples or friends sharing a base near the town; roadside parking makes it less good for a group arriving in several cars.
