4 Southern Place

Privacy is the draw at 4 Southern Place, a single-storey lodge on a holiday park at Dobwalls, 2.6 miles from Liskeard. It was fully renovated in April 2026 and sits in a leafy, sheltered spot that is not overlooked.

There are two bedrooms: a king-size with a TV, an en-suite walk-in shower and direct access to the decking, and a twin. A family bathroom has a bath and shower. The lodge sleeps four. The open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and a woodburning stove, with fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove included, and large glass doors open onto the deck. The kitchen has an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and there are a Smart TV and WiFi.

The enclosed, gated decking has furniture and is secure for pets. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead at all times on site. The park has lakes and open water, so children must be accompanied at all times, and barbecues are not to be brought to the site. There are steps up to the property, and off-road parking for one car.

Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am, and Sunday arrivals are not permitted. The shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.6 miles. Smoking is not allowed. The lodge suits a couple or friends with dogs, and is less good for families with young children because of the open water and the steps.
