4 Tree Tops

4 Tree Tops is a single-storey lodge on a holiday park in a wooded valley at Dobwalls, with lakes and woodland around it. The private terrace has furniture and a hot tub.

There are two bedrooms, both with TVs: a king-size with its own en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a double. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The open-plan living space combines a kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire. There are two TVs, WiFi and gas central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot without a mattress and a highchair can be hired.

Off-road parking is for two cars, and there is a pub/restaurant on the park. The nearest shop is 0.5 miles away. Steps lead up to the lodge, and because of the terrace and the lakes on site, children need supervising at all times.

The park has some firm rules: barbecues may not be brought, electric vehicles cannot be charged, Sunday arrivals are not permitted, and a good housekeeping bond applies. There is no smoking and no pets. The layout suits two couples or a small family; it is less good for anyone with a dog or with young children who cannot be watched near water.
