8 Horizon View

Sleeping up to six, 8 Horizon View is a single-storey lodge in Dobwalls with three bedrooms and a private hot tub on a decked terrace. The terrace has a lawn and patio furniture, with countryside views across the fields towards Bodmin Moor.

The bedrooms are a double with a TV and an en-suite (walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC), a twin with a TV and a second twin. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over and a heated towel rail. The lodge takes a maximum of 6 guests. Open-plan living combines the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with a Smart TV, DVD player, two further TVs and Wi-Fi.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but the decking is not dog safe, so stay with them when they are outside, and keep them on a lead across the site. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher, and the heating is electric and central. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included, and a travel cot (no mattress) and highchair can be hired.

Parking is off-road for two cars, and a maximum of two vehicles is permitted per stay; registrations must be given to the local office. There is also an electric vehicle charging point, at an extra cost. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. Barbecues cannot be brought onto the site, Sunday arrivals are not permitted, and the lodge is no smoking. The shop and pub are 0.5 miles away.

It is ideal for a family or a group of friends of up to six travelling with a dog or two.
