3-bed Polzeath house, 600m from the surf beach, south-west sun deck

A three-bedroom house in Polzeath, 600 metres from one of north Cornwall's most consistent surf beaches, sleeping six. The house sits within a small development and the open-plan ground floor opens onto a south-west-facing sun deck that catches the afternoon light.

Three bedrooms sleep six: a super-king zip-and-link that can convert to twins, a double, and a bunk room with a double below and a single above (the top bunk suits one adult or a child). Two bathrooms. An outdoor heated shower on the deck is well-placed for rinsing off after beach days or walks on the coast path. BBQ, dishwasher, and WiFi included. Up to two dogs welcome.

Polzeath Beach itself is 600 metres - an RNLI-lifeguarded surf beach with several schools operating from Easter to October. Greenaway Beach, quieter and less exposed, is about a mile south. Rock is about 2 miles along the coast road, where the water taxi crosses the Camel Estuary to Padstow every 20 minutes.

Best for surf families or two couples who want a proper base close to Polzeath beach without being right on the car-park strip. The bunk room means it works for families with a mixed age range. Less suited to groups wanting a washing machine - this house has none.
