Bumblebee Cottage

Bumblebee Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in Luxulyan, a village in mid-Cornwall about 4 miles north of St Austell. The property sits 65 metres from the village shop and pub, in the wooded valley that contains the Treffry Viaduct - a Grade I listed granite structure and part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site.

Inside, a king-size bedroom and a double bedroom each have their own TV. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. A sitting room with an open fire anchors the ground floor, and the kitchen comes equipped with a Smeg oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. WiFi and Smart TV are included.

The enclosed garden is large, with a lawn, patio, covered sitting area, fridge, electric grill, and a fire pit. A pond sits in the garden (not fenced). Off-road parking fits 2 cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Carlyon Bay is 4 miles away, and Charlestown Beach - the Georgian harbour known as a Poldark filming location - is 4.3 miles.

The Eden Project is about 3 miles east, and Fowey is roughly 7 miles south through Lostwithiel. Lanhydrock, the National Trust estate, is within easy reach by car. The village sits between the china clay country to the north-west and the south Cornwall coast.

Best for a couple or small family who don't mind a short stroll to the village shop and pub, with the Eden Project 3 miles away. Less good for families with toddlers - the garden pond is not fenced.
