Church Hill House

Church Hill House is a Georgian house just above the centre of Port Isaac, close to the harbour, and it sleeps eight over three floors. The kitchen has a breakfast bar for four, and the sitting room has a woodburning stove and a dining table with seats for eight. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and wine fridge.

The bedrooms are on the upper floors: a king-size, a double and a twin on the first floor, and a second twin at the top under the eaves. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room, and there is also a bathroom with a bath and shower and another with a shower, so the house has three bathrooms. Cots are available.

Steps lead up to a private top terrace, furnished for eating outside, with views across the harbour and along the coast. Central heating is supplemented by the stove, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. There is a washing machine, WiFi and a selection of games. The shop is 0.4 miles away, the pub 0.1 mile and the beach 0.7 miles. Polzeath is 6.5 miles from Port Isaac.

Off-road parking is for one car. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome and smoking is not permitted. With stairs between all the floors and steps to the terrace, it suits two families or a group of friends, and is less good for anyone who finds stairs difficult.
