Lower Garrick

Lower Garrick is a detached four-bedroom house in Port Isaac, sleeping 8 with parking for three cars and panoramic views over Port Isaac Bay from the upper-level living area. The inverted layout puts the main living space on the first floor to take full advantage of the outlook across the north Cornish coast.

The house is double-glazed and set in an extensive garden at the top of the village. Port Gaverne Beach - a sheltered cove with sand at low tide, popular with kayakers - is 200m away. The harbour and the village's shops, pubs, and restaurants are roughly half a mile down the hill. A grocery store and children's play area are close to the cottage.

The Camel Estuary beaches are approximately a 15-minute drive south: Polzeath for surf, Daymer Bay for families, Rock for watersports. Wadebridge, the nearest market town, is 9 miles away. The South West Coast Path runs directly through Port Isaac, connecting to Tregardock Beach 5km to the north - one of the more remote stretches of the north-coast path.

Best for families or two households wanting a spacious house with sea views, beach proximity, and easy access to the Camel Estuary. Less good for those who want flat access - the steep village hill and upper-floor living space require reasonable mobility.
