Elmwood is a contemporary four-bedroom home in the village of Trelights, near Port Isaac, sleeping eight. The property has a clean, modern interior with underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room.

Four bedrooms are split across the upper floors: a super-king (zip-link), a king with en-suite shower, a double, and a twin (zip-link, convertible to king). A family bathroom has a bath with shower over, and a ground-floor cloakroom adds convenience. The kitchen-diner includes a double oven, wine cooler, dishwasher, and Bluetooth speaker. A utility room handles laundry with separate washer and tumble dryer.

Port Gaverne Beach - a sheltered cove with calm water, rock pools, and kayaking - is 1.2 miles east. Polzeath Beach, a popular half-mile surf break with lifeguards and multiple surf schools, lies 3.6 miles southwest. The enclosed patio has outdoor furniture and a small charcoal BBQ. Off-road parking is provided.

Port Isaac, the fishing village used as the filming location for Doc Martin, is about a mile downhill. Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant and fresh crab sandwiches from the harbour are nearby draws. The coast path leads to Port Quin in one direction and along dramatic clifftops in the other. One small dog is welcome.
