Clifftop House, Hidden St Ives

Clifftop House is a reverse-level house in St Ives, with Atlantic views across Porthmeor Beach towards Godrevy Lighthouse. The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area is upstairs and opens onto a balcony. The terrace has furniture and a private hot tub.

The two bedrooms are downstairs: a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, and a zip/link twin that can be made up as a super-king-size on request. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The house sleeps four. Underfloor heating runs through it, and the kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Smart TV and WiFi are included, along with fuel, power, bed linen and towels. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be requested in advance.

The house is part of a development, and guests can use the Hidden Lounge, a shared wellness space with a communal hot tub, sauna, steam room, gym and foot spa. A concierge team takes bookings for extra services, and e-bike hire is available for an additional charge. A free chauffeur service runs within a two-mile radius from 7am to 9pm, including weekends, once you have checked in.

The beach is 0.3 miles away, the shop 0.2 miles, the pub 0.6 miles and the river 1.3 miles. Off-road parking is provided, two dogs are welcome and smoking is not allowed. Stays over Christmas and New Year week have a minimum of three nights.

It suits couples or two pairs of friends who want a hot tub and the shared spa; the two bedrooms make it less good for a family needing more sleeping space.
