Cornish Views

Cornish Views is a two-bedroom cottage near the village of Praze-an-Beeble, between Camborne and Helston in central Cornwall. It sleeps four and earned a 2024 Sykes Star award for consistently high guest feedback. The property sits in a rural setting with an enclosed patio and off-road parking for two cars.

The ground-floor twin bedroom has its own en-suite with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC - useful for guests with limited mobility. Upstairs, the double bedroom has a Smart TV. A second shower room with walk-in shower serves the upper floor. The kitchen-diner and sitting room each have their own Smart TV (three total). The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge-freezer.

The enclosed patio has outdoor furniture. No dogs are allowed, and the property is adults-only (no children under 10). Porthleven Beach, known for its powerful winter surf and harbour-side restaurants, is 6.3 miles south. Portreath Beach - a sandy north coast break backed by a historic harbour - is 6.5 miles in the opposite direction.

The central Cornwall location puts both coasts within a short drive. Heartlands, the free mining heritage centre at Pool, is nearby, and the surrounding area is dotted with UNESCO World Heritage engine houses. Carn Brea, with panoramic views from its hilltop castle remains, is a few miles north-east. Camborne mainline station connects to London Paddington.
