Two-bedroom cottage on Church Hill in Port Isaac, sleeping four with two bathrooms, in a Grade II listed building at the heart of the village. The address puts you within a few minutes' walk of the harbour, the Platt (the slipway area where locals and visitors congregate), and Nathan Outlaw's fish restaurant on New Road. The accessible ground floor makes this a practical choice for guests with limited mobility.

The cottage has a courtyard garden and off-road parking - both in short supply in Port Isaac, where the medieval street layout means most visitors park on the hill above the village. Dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi are included throughout.

Port Gaverne Beach is 600 metres east along the coast path, a small sheltered cove with calmer water than the exposed north-facing beaches. The South West Coast Path runs north from Port Isaac along high cliffs toward Tregardock Beach, 5.6km away. Polzeath Beach for surf is 6.5km south around the headland.

Best for couples or small families who want a village-centre base with heritage character and the harbour on foot. Less good for guests wanting sea views - Church Hill is inland of the quayside - or for dog owners, as no pets are accepted.
