The address puts you within a few minutes' walk of the harbour, the Platt (the slipway area where locals and visitors congregate), and Nathan Outlaw's fish restaurant on New Road. The accessible ground floor makes this a practical choice for guests with limited mobility.

The cottage has a courtyard garden and off-road parking - both in short supply in Port Isaac, where the medieval street layout means most visitors park on the hill above the village. Dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi are included throughout.

Port Gaverne Beach is 600 metres east along the coast path, a small sheltered cove with calmer water than the exposed north-facing beaches. The South West Coast Path runs north from Port Isaac along high cliffs toward Tregardock Beach, 3.5 miles away. Polzeath Beach for surf is 4 miles south around the headland.

Best for couples or small families who want a village-centre base with heritage character and the harbour on foot. Less good for guests wanting sea views - Church Hill is inland of the quayside - or for dog owners, as no pets are accepted.
