The apartment sits in Port Isaac village itself - the narrow streets filmed as Portwenn in the TV series Doc Martin.

Port Isaac harbour is less than 200m from the door; the South West Coast Path starts at the village and runs north and south along the cliffs. Polzeath surf beach is 6.8km south; the Rock ferry crossing to Padstow is a 20-minute drive. The Fisherman's Friends perform shanties on the harbour plinth - ask locally for dates.

Best for couples or a small family wanting a village-centre base with sea views and no driving to the beach. Less suited to guests needing more than 300m of level walking to water - Port Isaac's lanes involve some steep steps down to the harbour.
