Dolphin Lodge

Dolphin Lodge is a detached, single-storey lodge at Trewetha Farm near Port Isaac on the north Cornwall coast. The property sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and has parking for 2 cars, a private rear patio, and access to a shared one-acre field. Two pets are welcome, and a highchair and cot are available on request.

Inside, the open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. A TV with Freeview, DVD player, and WiFi are provided. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has twin beds. A shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC serves the lodge. An on-site laundry room has a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen is provided, but guests bring their own towels.

The rear patio has outdoor furniture and looks onto the surrounding farmland. Port Gaverne Beach - a sheltered cove with calm water, rock pools, and kayaking - is about 700 metres away as the crow flies. Tregardock Beach, a remote sandy beach with surf, sits 3.3 miles along the coast to the east.

Port Isaac village is a short walk downhill, with its 14th-century harbour, fresh seafood, and the Fisherman's Friends performing on the Platt. The South West Coast Path passes nearby, offering cliff walks in both directions. A shop is 0.5 miles away, with a pub and the beach 0.8 miles from the lodge.

Suits a couple or small family travelling with pets who want a single-storey lodge on a farm near Port Isaac. Less good for anyone wanting a pub nearby, as the shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 0.8 miles.
