Farthings Cottage is a traditional two-bedroom cottage for four in Duloe. One bedroom is a double and the other has bunk beds, making the standard layout best suited to a family. A sofa bed for one additional guest can be requested when booking, but confirm a fifth place with the provider directly, since the official capacity is four. There is one bathroom for the group.

Exposed stone walls and timber beams retain older details throughout, while the wood burner provides a focal point in the living space on cooler evenings. The secure enclosed garden suits guests bringing up to two dogs. Wi-Fi, parking and a washing machine are included, though there's no dishwasher, so washing up stays a manual job.

Woodland trails and lake access are also nearby, good for a rainy-day walk without the car. Talland Bay is 3.7 miles away, Lekerock Cove is 4 miles away and East Looe Beach is 4.1 miles away. Looe's quayside, with its shops and harbour, is a five-mile drive.

**Best for:** a small family wanting bunk beds, an enclosed dog-friendly garden, woodland access and a wood burner.

**Less good for:** two couples, groups assuming five confirmed sleeping places, or guests needing a dishwasher or step-free access.
