Harbour Lodge

A single-storey timber-built lodge on Trewetha Farm, a short drive from Port Isaac on the north Cornwall coast. The village is the filming location for ITV's Doc Martin, and Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant sits in the harbour area about half a mile from the lodge. The lodge sleeps 6 across three bedrooms.

Three bedrooms - one double, one twin, one bunk room - share a single bathroom with bath and shower over. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area runs the full width. A shared external utility room has a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Towels are not provided. WiFi, Freeview TV, dishwasher, and off-road parking for 2 cars are all included. Two pets welcome.

Port Gaverne Beach is 700 metres away - a sheltered cove with rock pools at low tide and calm water for swimming. Tregardock Beach is 3.3 miles along the coast, a remote sandy stretch reached by a 15-20 minute walk from its car park. The South West Coast Path north from Port Isaac passes some of the most dramatic cliff sections on the north Cornish coast, with Polzeath 4.3 miles south for surf.

Best for families or small groups wanting easy beach access and a famous village on the doorstep. Less good for couples looking for romance - three bedrooms in a working-farm lodge is a practical rather than intimate stay.
