Highland Barn

Highland Barn is a four-bedroom barn conversion for eight near Launceston, Cornwall's historic county town below its Norman castle. Two king-size rooms sit alongside a further king-size room with its own en-suite shower room and WC, plus a super-king room that converts to twins on request. Three bathrooms serve the group, a useful ratio for eight guests sharing a house.

A wood burner gives the sitting room a focal point, and the kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi and parking are included, and the garden has space for a barbecue. Dogs are not accepted here, which rules the barn out for anyone travelling with a pet.

Launceston sits close to Bodmin Moor and works as a base for both north and east Cornwall, with the A30 giving quick access west. The nearest beaches are a proper drive rather than a stroll: Millook Beach is 13.5 miles away, Widemouth Bay 13.7 miles and Crackington Haven Beach 14.4 miles, all around half an hour by car.
