Keiro Veor

Keiro Veor is a four-bedroom cottage for eight near St Minver, a quiet parish village a mile inland from Rock. Four acres of grounds set it apart from the tighter streets around Rock and Polzeath.

Two of the four bedrooms have super-king beds, one convertible to twins on request, and the other two are king-size; four bathrooms mean no queuing for a family group. A wood-fired hot tub, sauna, outdoor kitchen and fire pit sit alongside an indoor wood burner and BBQ. WiFi, parking, EV charging, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

The four acres include lawns, a meadow and a pond, giving children space to roam without leaving the property. Daymer Bay is 2.5 miles away, Greenaway Beach 2.7 miles and Polzeath Beach 2.8 miles, putting three beaches within easy reach of the cottage.

Rock's harbour and its water taxi across to Padstow are about a mile from St Minver along the lanes. The cottage holds a 9 out of 10 rating from five reviews, still a small sample to draw firm conclusions from.

**Best for:** Two families or a larger group wanting four bathrooms, a hot tub and sauna, extensive grounds and EV charging.

**Less good for:** Guests wanting a sea view or confirmed step-free access - this cottage has neither.
