Landare Cottage

Landare Cottage adjoins a working farmhouse near Duloe, in the East Cornwall countryside a few miles inland from Looe. The two-bedroom property sleeps four across a super-king-size bedroom and a twin room - both with private en-suites. The lounge, kitchen-diner and utility room are on the ground floor, and both bedrooms are upstairs.

The lounge has French doors opening directly onto a large lawned garden with patio, outdoor seating, BBQ and garden games. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. No dogs are allowed on site, which suits guests who want a clean, allergen-aware stay.

Talland Bay lies 4.8 miles to the south, with East Looe Beach 5 miles and the fishing port of Looe reachable in under 15 minutes. Polperro's narrow harbour streets are around 3.7 miles, and the National Trust's Lanhydrock House - with its Victorian walled gardens and 900-acre estate - is within 30 minutes by car.

Fowey and the Camel Trail at Bodmin are both accessible day-trip options. The surrounding countryside has several waymarked footpaths leading into open farmland directly from the lane. Best for couples or two-adult groups wanting a rural base; not great for families with dogs or those who need to be right on the coast. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.
