Polperro's narrow harbour streets are around 6km, and the National Trust's Lanhydrock House - with its Victorian walled gardens and 900-acre estate - is within 30 minutes by car.

Fowey and the Camel Trail at Bodmin are both accessible day-trip options. The surrounding countryside has several waymarked footpaths leading into open farmland directly from the lane. Best for couples or two-adult groups wanting accessibility plus a rural base; not great for families with dogs or those who need to be right on the coast.
