Malahne is a two-bedroom apartment in a Grade II listed Georgian building at the heart of Port Isaac, the fishing village used as the set for ITV's Doc Martin. It sleeps four, with a queen en-suite bedroom and a double en-suite bedroom, plus a third downstairs toilet, and check-in runs from 4pm. Check-out is by 10am. The apartment covers 1076 square feet and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Original sash windows and a fireplace remain from the building's Georgian construction, and a wood burner, induction hob and full oven feature in the modern kitchen and lounge. A slimline dishwasher and washer-dryer are also fitted. Access is via an exterior staircase into a shared courtyard, with a balcony for outdoor dining that looks down onto the cliff face behind. Dogs are welcome.

Port Gaverne Beach is around 600 metres away. Port Isaac's harbour has two Nathan Outlaw restaurants holding three Michelin stars between them, and coastal and moorland walks nearby have featured in the BBC dramas Poldark and Doc Martin. Tintagel Castle is 11 miles up the coast, with the Eden Project around 25 miles.

Best for couples or small groups wanting a characterful, dog-friendly base right in the village, close to Port Isaac's harbour restaurants.
