Inside, the kitchen and dining room have vaulted ceilings and bi-fold doors opening onto the courtyard. The kitchen has an electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and coffee machine. The sitting room has a wood burner (first basket of logs included), corner sofa and Smart TV. A ground-floor king bedroom has an en-suite shower room with waterfall shower; the family bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath. Two further bedrooms and the utility room with washing machine complete the layout.

Outside, a gravelled courtyard leads to the BBQ and a private 2-acre field - the main draw for families and dog owners. The enclosed rear garden has a fire pit, sun loungers and ample parking. Up to two dogs are welcome. Porthtowan and its Blue Bar are 4 miles away; Portreath Beach is 5.6km. Truro is 10 miles; the coast path at Porthtowan gives access to the South West Coast Path National Landscape.

Best for: families or friends with dogs who want countryside space and North Cornwall beaches within 15 minutes. Less good for: guests who need sea views or a hot tub.
