Manorcombe 17

Two bathrooms set Manorcombe 17 apart from most of the bungalows around it: a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, and a separate shower room. It is all on one level, at Tamar Valley Resort near Callington, and it sleeps 6.

The maximum party is 4 adults and 2 children. The bedrooms are a double and two twins, and the open-plan living area has a kitchen, a sitting area and a dining table that seats 6. There is an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a TV and WiFi, with electric central heating. A cot and highchair can be requested. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Cars go on the off-road parking, which takes 2. The patio has garden furniture, and there is a communal lawned garden. Guests share the indoor heated and outdoor swimming pools (seasonal opening times apply), the bar, shop and reception, a gym, a children's outdoor play area and tennis courts. The on-site shop and pub are a 5 minute walk away. Portable BBQs are not permitted on the park. The gym is closed to under-16s, and in the pool under-16s must be accompanied by an adult (two children at most per adult); there are no lifeguards. Pools and gym work on a booking system arranged at reception once on site.

One pet is welcome, though breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not. Smoking is not allowed, and workers and contractors cannot stay as the park is for holidaymakers. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am; the water is a private supply, tested regularly.

It suits a family or two couples who want a second bathroom; it is less good for a group of six adults, as the limit is four.
