Manorcombe 19

Three bedrooms, one bathroom and no stairs: Manorcombe 19 is a bungalow at Tamar Valley Resort, in the Callington area, sitting in a row of neat properties with lawn in front. It sleeps 6.

The open-plan living area has large modern sofas, a TV and DVD player, and the farmhouse-style kitchen has a dining table, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with ice box and a dishwasher. Heating is electric, WiFi is included, and the rent covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels. The bedrooms are a double and two twins, and the bathroom has a bath with a shower over.

The south-facing patio has garden furniture and looks onto the lawn. Parking is allocated for 1 car, and electric vehicle charging is not permitted on the site. On the park are indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools (the outdoor one opens from mid May to mid September), a bar with a shop and reception, and a 10 minute walk takes you to the on-site shop and pub. Under-16s may not use the gym, and in the pool they must be accompanied by an adult (two children at most per adult); there are no lifeguards. Pools and gym work on a booking system arranged at reception once on site, and seasonal opening times may apply.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and dogs stay on a lead at all times on the park; breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted. Smoking is not allowed, workers and contractors cannot stay under park rules, and the water is a private supply that is tested regularly.

It is ideal for a family or two couples who want single-level living, and less good for anyone travelling with an electric car.
