Maple Lodge

Maple Lodge is a Baltic pine lodge on a working farm, 2 miles from the small village of Lanivet, with three bedrooms and room for five. It is entered straight into the open plan living area, where the kitchen, sitting area and dining area share one space.

The king-size double has an en suite shower, basin and WC. The single and the children's bunk room are both close to the family bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over. From 2027 the bunk bed will become a single bed and the lodge will sleep four. The kitchen has an electric cooker, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher, and the lodge also has a Smart TV, a DVD player, WiFi, and books, games and DVDs. Electric wall heaters warm the rooms. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, but beach towels are not.

An L-shaped veranda at the front overlooks a patio, which has furniture and a place for a disposable barbecue. A new play area serves children aged 10 and under, and The Paddock gives nearly two acres of open space. There is off-road parking for 2 cars, and the shop and pub are 2 miles away.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. Changeover is Saturday, school holidays are 7-night bookings, and short breaks run Saturday to Saturday until 2027, when changeover becomes Friday. The lodge can be booked with five others on the farm, sleeping 21 together. It suits a family of five, and it is less good for a party of adults who want proper beds for everyone.
