Mount Pleasant is a three-bedroom terraced cottage in the heart of St Ives, renovated in 2023 and sleeping four across a king-size, a double and a single room. One bathroom serves the whole cottage, worth noting for a full booking of four.

Exposed beams, window seats and wooden floors remain from the original building, and the kitchen has a breakfast bar, an electric oven and gas hob, a fridge with ice box, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a Tassimo coffee machine. WiFi and off-road parking are included, though dogs are not accepted. A garden adds outdoor space in a town where most cottages open straight onto the street.

St Ives Harbour Beach is 200m away, and Porthmeor Beach and Porthminster Beach are each 300m from the door, three of the town's four beaches within easy walking distance. Galleries, cafes, pubs and shops sit within 350m too, part of the artists' colony that has drawn painters to St Ives since the 1880s and still centres on the Tate St Ives gallery at Porthmeor.
