Porthmeor

Porthmeor is a single-storey house in the Camel Trail town of Wadebridge. It has three bedrooms, all on the one floor: a double with an en-suite walk-in shower, and two further doubles. One of those can be set up as a twin if you tell the owner two weeks before arrival. A separate shower room with a walk-in shower serves the rest of the house.

Two rooms are set aside for sitting, a sitting room with a gas fire and a separate snug, and both have TVs. A kitchen/diner holds the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is gas central heating and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside, the garden has a terrace, patio and lawn with furniture. Off-road parking is for one car, with extra roadside parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. A pub is 0.4 miles away, a shop 0.5 miles and the river 1 mile. Padstow is 9 miles and Newquay 16 miles.

One well-behaved pet is welcome and smoking is not allowed. Bookings run Saturday to Saturday only. The layout suits three couples or a family of up to six, and it is less good for anyone travelling with more than one dog.
