Rock Pool House

Rock Pool House is a three-bedroom duplex apartment in Porthleven, sleeping five with two bathrooms. The cottage has a woodburning stove and an open fire alongside a roll-top bath - a combination that makes it a practical choice for late autumn or early spring breaks when the south Cornish coast is quieter. Dogs are welcome, and the enclosed garden gives them somewhere to settle after a day out.

Three bedrooms across two floors sleep five. The duplex layout gives natural separation between sleeping and living space. Parking, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. Friday changeover, with check-in from 4:00 pm and check-out by 10:00 am. A cot and a highchair are available.

Porthleven Beach is 600m from the front door - a wide south-facing strand backed by a working harbour with its own produce stalls and independent restaurants. The Harbour Inn and Kota Restaurant are both within a ten-minute walk. Rinsey Cove, a smaller rockier beach maintained by the National Trust, is 2.3 miles along the coast. Praa Sands, a long sandy beach with surf, is 3.4 miles.

Best for couples or small families wanting a dog-friendly base in Porthleven with real fires and easy beach access in shoulder season. Less good for groups of six or more.
