The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 3 miles inland on the B3273, a worthwhile half-day if the weather turns.

This property suits families or groups of up to 7 who want a harbour village setting with genuine sea views. Dogs are welcome. The south-facing aspect and enclosed garden make it functional in cooler months. The Eden Project is around 6 miles north on the B3273 and gives a half-day option when conditions are poor. Mevagissey does not have a cashpoint or supermarket, so provisioning for a week requires a car trip to St Austell, which is around 4 miles inland. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 7 guests the layout works without bottlenecks.
