Seaview Moorings

Seaview Moorings is a three-bedroom cottage in central Porthleven for five guests. One king-size bedroom, one double and one single give a clear family layout, though the whole group shares one bathroom, a point worth planning around during busy mornings.

Harbour and sea views are included from the living room and main bedroom. Parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a garden are included, and dogs are welcome. A ground-floor cloakroom and a rear yard, reached by a sliding door from the kitchen, give room to leave coats and boots, and the main shops and cafes are within 150 yards.

Porthleven Beach is 400 metres away, a south-west facing beach that picks up swell missed by most south coast beaches. Porthcew (Rinsey Cove), reached via a steep National Trust path, is 2.4 miles from the cottage, and Praa Sands is 3.4 miles. The South West Coast Path passes through the village in both directions, east towards Loe Bar's shingle barrier and west towards Rinsey Head. **Best for:** a family of five wanting sea views, central Porthleven and a garden with laundry facilities. **Less good for:** groups needing two bathrooms, or anyone requiring step-free access.
