Siblyback Cottage

Siblyback Cottage is a dog-friendly two-bedroom holiday home at Coombe Farm in Trewen, near Launceston in east Cornwall. A seasonal outdoor pool and EV charging point are the two amenities that tend to separate it from comparable cottages in the area.

Inside, two bedrooms accommodate up to four guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher, free wifi covers the whole property, and a private bathroom serves the cottage. The outdoor terrace and garden include BBQ facilities and a children's play area. On-site parking is included alongside the EV charging station. Check-in is from 16:00, check-out by 09:30.

Launceston is about 6 miles away - Cornwall's historic county town, with a Norman castle overlooking the Tamar Valley and a heritage narrow-gauge steam railway through the Kensey Valley. Bodmin Moor is on the doorstep for walking, and the north coast beaches at Crackington Haven are roughly a 30-minute drive. Tintagel, with its castle ruins and dramatic clifftop setting, is about 16 miles to the west.

Best for: families and dog-owners wanting a quiet farm base for exploring east Cornwall, Bodmin Moor, and the north coast. Less good for: guests who want to be within walking distance of a town, or those visiting in winter when the outdoor pool is closed.
