Barn Owl Cottage is a converted barn at Canworthy Water, near Launceston in east Cornwall. The property sleeps 4 in two ground-floor bedrooms, with the living space on the first floor - a reverse-level layout that makes the most of the rural surroundings.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double with en-suite bath and shower over, and a twin with en-suite wet room. The first-floor open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining, and sitting space, with a cloakroom on the same level. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer.

An enclosed lawned garden has patio furniture and a barbecue, with a shared garden area that includes a children's play space. Off-road parking for 2 cars. A highchair and travel cot are available on request. The nearest shop is 6.3 miles away and the closest pub is 4.5 miles.

Millook Beach - known for its dramatically folded cliff strata - is 5.5 miles to the northwest. Crackington Haven Beach, a coarse-sand cove with reliable surf and rock pools, is 6 miles away. Bude's beaches at Widemouth Bay are about 6.2 miles north along the coast. Bodmin Moor and the north coast are both within a 30-minute drive.
