Teana Cottage

Teana Cottage is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage on Landaviddy Lane in Polperro, sitting in the heart of one of Cornwall's south coast fishing villages. The cottage sleeps three. The address puts it within a short walk of the working harbour and the narrow lanes that make Polperro one of the most distinctive settlements on this stretch of coast.

Inside, an open fire is the centrepiece of the living area - a practical feature for shoulder-season breaks when Cornwall's weather is changeable. The kitchen is set up for self-catering with a dishwasher, and wifi is included. Two bedrooms sit above the ground floor, sharing a single bathroom.

A garden provides outdoor space to sit in when the weather allows. Crumplehorn car park sits at the top of the village roughly half a mile away. The electric tuk-tuk service that runs Easter to October is a short walk from the cottage.

Talland Bay lies about a mile south along the South West Coast Path - a dog-friendly cove with two beach cafés and calm water for swimming. Looe sits 4 miles east along the coast for a wider range of shops and restaurants.

**Best for:** couples or small families (including those with dogs) who want a traditional village base without a car, with coast path access on the doorstep. Dogs are welcome.
