The Chace

The Chace is a 3-bedroom house in Portreath, sleeping 6 across three bedrooms with one bathroom. The beach is 300 metres away - a short walk across the road with no need to drive or park at the coast. The enclosed rear garden provides outdoor space for children and adults alike.

Inside, the house has a contemporary layout with wifi, parking for two vehicles, dishwasher, and washing machine. The kitchen and living areas are open plan, giving the group room to spread out after a day at the beach.

Portreath is a small harbour village on the north coast, set between Redruth and St Agnes. The beach is sandy and sheltered at low tide, with surf that builds on an incoming swell. The North Cliffs stretch of the South West Coast Path runs east toward Porthtowan, while Tehidy Country Park - 250 acres of ancient woodland - starts less than a mile inland. Godrevy Beach and Gwithian Towans are within 8 km for days when you want more space.

Best for families or two couples after a low-effort beach base with everything on foot. Less good for those wanting remote countryside or a hot tub.
