The Courtyard

The Courtyard is a four-bedroom cottage set in the centre of Kingsand on the Rame peninsula, less than a couple of minutes' walk from the beach. The property sleeps six, with an open-plan living space and a private courtyard garden set up for outdoor meals and barbecues.

Inside, the open-plan layout runs around a stylish living and kitchen area, with Wi-Fi throughout, dishwasher and washing machine support. Four bedrooms accommodate the group across the upper floor. The setup works well for a family of six or two couples travelling together.

Outside, the private courtyard garden runs off the back of the property, giving private outdoor space in the centre of the village. Kingsand beach sits 100 metres from the door, with Cawsand beach 400 metres along the shoreline and Whitsand Bay 5.6 kilometres along the coast for a longer stretch of sand.

Kingsand and its neighbour Cawsand sit side by side on the Rame, each with a pub, cafes, restaurants and independent shops including 'The Stores' in Kingsand for sourdough. The South West Coast Path runs around Penlee Point to Rame Head for cliff walks. Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and Antony House sit within a short drive, and a summer passenger ferry runs from Cawsand Beach to the Plymouth Barbican.
