The Crows Nest

The Crows Nest is a 1-bedroom cottage apartment on the second floor of a Market Square building in the heart of Mevagissey, sleeping 2 across a single double and 2 shower rooms. Its central position puts the working double harbour, fish shops, and traditional pubs within a short walk from the front door.

Inside, the apartment is compact but well equipped for two, with Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine included. Parking is provided separately - useful since Mevagissey's historic lanes are too narrow for cars, and the village car parks charge from £5 per day.

Pentewan Beach is 1.4 miles south - a near-mile stretch of sand with RNLI lifeguards in summer and access to kayaking and paddleboarding. The flat Pentewan Valley trail connects it back towards St Austell and makes for an easy cycling day out. Gorran Haven is a further 2 miles down the coast. The Lost Gardens of Heligan sit about 3 miles inland along the B3273, and the Mevagissey Ferry to Fowey runs seasonally from the harbour below.

**Best for:** couples wanting a harbour-village base with easy beach access and no car needed day-to-day. **Less good for:** anyone needing a large living space, a hot tub, or dog-friendly accommodation (dogs not accepted).
