The Old Vicarage Retreat

The Treffry Viaduct - a 98-foot granite railway viaduct from 1842 listed Grade I - is accessible on foot via a waymarked trail through Luxulyan Valley, which forms part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. The Eden Project is about 3 miles east. Carlyon Bay, a long sandy beach near St Austell with gentle swimming and watersports hire, is around 6 miles south. Charlestown harbour is 4.2 miles, and Fowey is roughly 7 miles south through Lostwithiel.
