Northcott Mouth is 4.5km, adjacent to Bude's surf zone. Bude itself is about 8km south and has supermarkets, surf hire, and the tidal Summerleaze pool.

Best for a group of 8 - extended family or two families travelling together - who want a dog-friendly working farm setting and don't mind being a short drive from facilities. The 3 bathrooms for 8 people is a practical advantage for larger groups. Less good for couples or small parties who'd find the space too large for their needs.
