Tre Lowen

Tre Lowen is a four-bedroom cottage in Port Isaac for eight guests, and every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom - a rare match of bedrooms to bathrooms for a cottage this size. The four en-suites mean two families sharing the trip do not need to negotiate a single family bathroom each morning. An open fire, a study and a play room give the group three distinct spaces beyond the bedrooms, and the enclosed garden adds room outdoors.

Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included. Changeover day is Friday, and two well-behaved pets are welcome.

Port Gaverne Beach, a sheltered cove with sand exposed at low tide, is 300 metres away. Tregardock Beach is 3.2 miles from the cottage and Polzeath Beach 4.2 miles. Port Isaac's harbour, the Platt where the Fisherman's Friends still perform, and Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant are all within the village on foot. The narrow streets around the harbour, familiar to fans of ITV's Doc Martin, are a short walk from the cottage rather than a drive.

**Best for:** Two families or friends wanting four en-suite bathrooms, a play room, a study, an enclosed garden and Port Gaverne on the doorstep.

**Less good for:** Guests needing EV charging or step-free access, neither of which is available here.
