Treetops Lodge

Treetops Lodge is a 3-bedroom reverse-living lodge set within 20 acres of private woodland near Callington, sleeping 6 across three configurable bedrooms. The main selling point is the hot tub on the terraced garden deck - a sheltered spot next to a stream, surrounded by trees. Rated 6 stars, it suits groups who want space and seclusion rather than town life.

The layout puts all three bedrooms on the ground floor: one twin that converts to a super-king, one king with en-suite Jack-and-Jill bathroom and French doors to the garden, and a second twin that converts to a king, served by a shower room. The upper floor is open-plan living and dining with a well-equipped kitchen. Dishwasher, washing machine and parking are all included. Dogs welcome (up to 2). No wi-fi - worth knowing before you book.

On-site there’s a tennis court, games room, children’s play area, and the Honicombe Arms pub. The Tamar Trails Centre for mountain biking and walking is 6 miles away. Tavistock’s market town is 8.5 miles, and historic Morwellham Quay - a Victorian copper-port on the Tamar - is 8 miles. The Eden Project is around 20 miles west. Whitsand Bay is roughly 19 miles for a coast day.

**Best for:** Families or groups of 6 wanting a self-contained woodland base with outdoor space; people who want to unwind off-grid without venturing far. **Less good for:** Beach holidays - the nearest coast is 19 miles; those needing wi-fi or Padstow-style town access.
