Daymer Bay, a sheltered estuary beach with calm water and the dune-set church of St Enodoc nearby, is just over a mile south. The coast path from Polzeath to Pentire Point is one of the best short walks on the north Cornwall coast, with views across to Stepper Point and Trevose Head.
