Two-bedroom cottage, Pentewan

The village pub is 0.1 mile from this cottage in Pentewan, and the beach and shop are each 0.4 miles away. It sleeps six across two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with the sofa bed in the sitting room making up the numbers. A bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC serves the house.

The sitting room and dining area share a space with a TV and WiFi, and the separate kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Heating is electric, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the stay.

A patio with furniture sits outside. There is no parking at the cottage itself: free public parking is available nearby on a first-come, first-served basis, and further paid parking is close by. One well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Dogs are only permitted on Pentewan beach between the first Sunday in November and the end of February.

Nearby days out include Pentewan Sands, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the fishing village of Mevagissey (2 miles) and Charlestown, and St Austell is 4 miles away. The cottage suits a family or a group of friends; with a single bathroom and shared parking that may be full, it is less good for a party that needs a guaranteed space for its car.
