Valley Lodge 3

You can hear a stream at the front door of Valley Lodge 3 and from its furnished balcony, which has countryside views. The lodge is reverse-level: the king-size, double and twin bedrooms and the shower room are on the ground floor, and stairs lead up to the main living space. It sleeps six.

That upper floor holds a sitting and dining room with a corner sofa, a TV and a dining table set for six, with the kitchen close by. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all covered by the rent.

St Ann's Chapel is a hamlet near Callington, with Gunnislake 1.5 miles away and Plymouth 17.8 miles. The lodge sits within the Honicombe holiday village, and stays include complimentary entry to the Meadowlands Leisure Club in Tavistock, which is off site and has a 25-metre main pool and a teaching pool. Check with the booking team before booking if you want the village's own on-site facilities.

Off-road parking is available and one well-behaved dog is welcome. Confirm the pet policy when booking. The nearest shop is 2 miles off and the pub 0.9 miles. Smoking is not permitted. With bedrooms downstairs and the living room up a staircase, it suits a family or friends who are happy with stairs each evening, and it is less good for anyone who cannot manage them.
