Valley Lodge 33

In Valley Lodge 33, the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the day rooms are one flight up, a reverse-level layout. There is a private decking area outside. It stands at Honicombe Park in Callington, near Gunnislake, 2.1 miles away. The shop is 1.4 miles from the lodge and the pub 1.3 miles.

Upstairs is one open-plan space with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and the sitting area has a Smart TV and DVD player, with unlimited fast WiFi. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are part of the rent, and electric wall heaters provide the heating.

Six people sleep across the three ground-floor bedrooms: a king-size whose en-suite has a bath with a shower over it, and two twins. A separate shower room has a walk-in shower. Two travel cots, two highchairs and stairgates can be arranged on request. Owners make regular upgrades to the lodge.

Guests share the park's leisure club, which has indoor and outdoor heated pools (the outdoor one from May to September), a sauna, a mini gym, outdoor chess and tennis courts, and there is a tennis court for guests on site. The club closes on 25th December and 1st January only. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, smoking is not allowed, and long-term lets and contractor bookings are declined. It suits families or friends with dogs, and is less good for anyone unable to use the stairs between the bedrooms and the kitchen.
