Valley Lodge 5

Valley Lodge 5 is a reverse-living lodge on the Tamar Valley Resort in Callington, south-east Cornwall. The three bedrooms are on the ground floor, with the master opening onto a private patio, and the open-plan living area and its balcony with seating are upstairs. It sleeps six.

The bedrooms are a double with an en-suite bath and shower over, and two twins, plus a shower room with a walk-in shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge, and there is a Smart TV, DVD player and WiFi. The lodge has electric central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Guests share the resort's indoor heated pool, which is open all year, and its outdoor heated pool, which opens from mid-May to mid-September, weather permitting. Seasonal opening times may apply to all facilities. There is also a tennis court, a bar, a shop and a children's outdoor play area, and the shop and pub are a 2-minute walk. In school holidays there are quiz nights and karaoke, and activities such as archery, rock climbing and canoeing run subject to availability, at extra cost.

Parking is communal, off-road, for two cars, and charging electric vehicles on site is forbidden. A travel cot and high chair are available. Bookings are for holidays only, with no work or business stays and no sign-written vans, and the water supply is private and tested regularly. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. No pets and no smoking. The lodge suits families who want the pools close by, and is less good for anyone who needs to charge an electric car.
