Valley Lodge 52

This semi-detached lodge, number 52 Valley Lodge, stands among mature oak woodland on Honicombe Manor Holiday Park, on the outskirts of Callington and 3.8 miles from the town. It sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double with its own balcony and Jack-and-Jill access to a bathroom, and two twins. There is also a separate shower room.

The open-plan living room, kitchen and dining area are on the first floor, opening onto a balcony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob and a fridge and freezer, and there is a Smart TV, a DVD player and WiFi. Heating is electric, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included. A cot and highchair are available on request.

There are two decking balconies, one with furniture and one holding the hot tub, plus a patio area with garden furniture. Parking is allocated for one car. The park has a shop, a bar, shared outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, tennis courts and a children's playground. The outdoor pool is open from mid-May to mid-September, weather permitting, and under-16s in the pool must be accompanied by an adult. Tennis courts are open from Easter until October half term, and other facilities may keep seasonal opening times.

One dog is welcome for an additional charge, and breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted. Smoking is not allowed, and the water supply is private and tested regularly. Site rules do not allow workers or contractors to stay. The lodge suits a family of up to six, and is less good for anyone avoiding stairs, as the living space is on the first floor.
